BARNET ALLIANCE FOR PUBLIC SERVICES
Our libraries: our NHS: our schools: our homes: our wardens:
our streets: our land: our old: our young: our past: our future

HANDS OFF OUR BARNET!
Barnet Council is under the hammer but not gone yet! Does it matter? It depends on whether
• you want value for money and accountability for provision of services we all need
• you are concerned about the loss of jobs for Barnet residents and the effect it will have on the local economy
• you mind paying huge hikes in your council tax to foot the bill when the private companies fail, as happened in other councils.

We think it matters because it’s about our future! To learn about the One Barnet Programme of privatisation that the council is pushing through, to debate it and see if you want to stop it
