Who cares about Home Care?
We do!
In September 2011 Barnet Council decided to award Home Care contracts to three private contractors
- Enara;
- Personnel and Care Bank;
- London Care Plc

Incredibly, two years later Barnet Council has instructed social workers not to refer new clients to two out of these three contractors.
Why have they issued this instruction to staff?
What level of due diligence took place when the decision was made to award these contracts?
How will Home Care be provided to all those who need it now?
Previously Barnet Council used to provide Home Care services directly.
It is about time Barnet Council took Home Care services seriously by directly employing home care workers.
